Autism & Special-Needs Support

Respectful support tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Non-clinical babysitting, supervision, and caregiver relief informed by Ashlynn’s Behavioral Technician experience in an autism and special-needs facility.

What to expect

Support designed around real life.

Every child communicates, learns, and experiences the world differently. Ashlynn works from information provided by the family and can support familiar routines, communication preferences, sensory needs, transitions, and individual strengths.

A parent or guardian begins by sharing the child’s preferred communication style, routines, interests, sensory sensitivities, calming strategies, safety concerns, food restrictions, and any behaviors Ashlynn should be prepared to support. This helps determine whether the requested service is a safe and appropriate fit.

Visits focus on dependable supervision, caregiver relief, and positive engagement. Ashlynn may follow parent-approved routines and strategies, but she does not create or change clinical behavior plans and does not provide independent ABA therapy or medical treatment.

How it works

Clear expectations from the start

  1. 1
    Start with a consultation

The family shares the child’s routines, communication needs, strengths, and safety considerations.

  2. 2
    Create a visit plan

Ashlynn and the family agree on activities, boundaries, emergency steps, and parent-approved supports.

  3. 3
    Stay connected

Ashlynn follows the agreed plan and provides an update to the parent or guardian after the visit.

Non-clinical service boundary

Services are not ABA therapy, behavioral treatment, medical care, clinical assessment, or independent RBT services. A consultation may be required before the first booking.
